Tonight's show has a big range of sounds, because I've found such a lot of interesting songs lately. Starting with the push-ahead beats of Actionslacks "Simple Life", and ending with the softest whispering sounds of Scott Matthew's "There Is An Ocean That Divides", I hope you enjoy the journey with us.

We feature the music of Eg White, an extraordinary songwriter whose work you probably know, without realising it was him. Songs he has written include Will Young's "Leave Right Now" (which won the Ivor Novello Award), Natalie Imbruglia's "Shiver", James Morrison's "You Give Me Something" and Duffy's "Warwick Avenue". His debut solo album is a little more leftfield, but the songs have been growing on me. I'd love to know what you think.
